This year too, Las Palmas welcomed the new edition of Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, the most important swim&beachwear event on our continent, with an in-person format remodeled on the basis of current health measures.

Gran Canaria Swim Week

The 2021 fashion show calendar saw the participation of 38 brands for women, men and children from all over Europe, confirming the presence of Miss Bikini Luxe again this year.
The varied origins of the foreign guest brands was a decisive step towards the internationalization of the catwalk, making it a cornerstone in the European beachwear sector. The success of the show was consolidated by an enhanced online strategy that totaled 100,000 digital users and 165,000 page views. The international propensity of the event and the openness to new businesses also involved numerous Italian buyers and guests, first of all “Maredamare”, the Italian swimwear show, which was invited to the twenty-fifth edition of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida.

After two years marked by lockdown, on the afternoon of October 22, Miss Bikini Luxe brought back to the catwalk a riot of colors and patterns aimed at reawakening dormant states of mind. Fabrics that become fluid, opening up to new volumes with enveloping designs or ultra-soft shapes, bikinis that evoke summer with original necklines, sparkling details and super sexy leg openings.

The first to parade is the Rombo series that makes its entrance with two key pieces: a crystal-studded bikini and a one-piece swimsuit sensual in every detail. In the other variations of the same series we see the encounter between rhomboid geometries and explosions of colorful flowers, enriched by precious fabric and maxi copper rings that accompany the lively sets in total rhombus print or with floral composition.

More than a trend, animalier remains a truly essential must-have .
To give the look a decidedly Sauvage attitude , Miss Bikini Luxe blends pointillism and spotted in a wild-flavored print. So let's make way for one-piece swimsuits with a seductive design, adorned with cascades of drops and metallic spears or even loose dresses with necklines and cut-outs that have never been so strategic.

There is no shortage of ornamental motifs in Cashmere declined in colors ranging from bright orange to brilliant lilac or elegant gray. Arabesque-flavored patterns and stylized flowers embellish Brazilians and one-shoulder bikinis with a timeless and never banal print. And it is with Miss Bikini Luxe that paisley patterns dominate the catwalk with sophisticated class, shining in metal rings and lurex with a bronze glow.

Ethnic references and gold accessories are never missing when it comes to trends. The India series with its baroque foliage with an oriental flavour invites you to play with your own style. Sensual bikinis with torchon and dresses with bold slits emphasize the bold but super chic combinations of yellow and purple.

If colors are the protagonists of the summer season, it is not surprising to find among the items of the show, bikinis, one-pieces and mini dresses with lush printed branches that stand out on delicate pink, energetic yellow or bold purple backgrounds in all their shades. Lurex, rhinestone nets and velvet ribbons illuminate with an original and unexpected touch the exclusive and sophisticated Ramage series.

It is the proposal of a lively, colourful and innovative wardrobe, projected towards a new lively season made of pastel shades, cut-out details, fringes and very glamorous accessories.
A collection that aims to erase every trace of winter greyness, aiming to sublimate the female body with high-cut bikinis, strategically cut, and to light up everyday life with enveloping mini dresses and elegant chemisiers.
