Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida 2021 21-24 October 2021

This year, Las Palmas once again welcomed the new edition of Gran Canaria Moda Calida, our continent's most important swim & beachwear event, with a reshaped in-person format based on current health measures.

The 2021 fashion show calendar saw the participation of 38 brands for women, men, and children from across Europe, confirming the presence of Miss Bikini Luxe again this year.
The diverse origins of the foreign guest brands were a decisive step towards the internationalization of the catwalk, making it a cornerstone in the European seaside fashion sector. The success of the review was consolidated by an enhanced online strategy that totaled 100,000 digital users and 165,000 pages viewed. The event's international reach and openness to new businesses also attracted numerous Italian buyers and guests, first and foremost “Maredamare”, the Italian swimwear fair, which was invited to the twenty-fifth edition of Moda Calida's Gran Canaria Swim Week.

After two years marked by lockdown, on the afternoon of October 22nd Miss Bikini Luxe brought back to the catwalk a riot of colors and patterns aimed at awakening dormant moods. Fabrics that flow, opening up to new volumes with enveloping designs or ultra-soft shapes, bikinis that evoke summer with original necklines, sparkling details and super sexy legs.

The first to parade is the series Rhombus who enters with two top pieces: a bikini studded with crystals and a one-piece costume sensual in every detail. In the other versions of the same series, we witness the encounter between rhomboid geometries and explosions of colorful flowers, enriched with precious fabric and large copper rings that accompany the lively sets in total rhombus print or with floral composè.

  

More than a trend, l’animalierthere remains a must have truly indispensable.
To give the look a’ attitude decidedly Sauvage, Miss Bikini Luxe blends pointillism and speckle in a wild-flavored print. And then the green light goes to one-piece costumes with seductive designs, adorned with cascades of drops and metallic spears or even to loose-fitting dresses with necklines and cut-out cuts that have never been more strategic.

There is also no shortage of ornamental motifs of the Cachemire in colours ranging from bright orange to bright lilac or elegant grey. Arabesque-flavored fantasies and stylized flowers embellish Brazilians and one-shoulder bikinis with a timeless and never banal print. And it is with Miss Bikini Luxe that paisley fantasies dominate the catwalk with sophisticated class shining in metallic rings and bronze-glowing lurex.

Ethnic recalls and gold accessories are never lacking in appeal when it comes to trends. The series India with its baroque foliages with an oriental flavour invites you to play with your own style. Sensual bikinis with torchons and dresses with bold slits emphasize the bold yet super chic juxtapositions of yellow and purple.

If colors are the protagonists of the summer season, it is not surprising to find among the garments of the show, bikinis, whole and mini dress with lush printed branches that stand out on delicate pink, energetic yellow or gritty purple backgrounds in all their shades. Lurex, rhinestone nets and velvet ribbons illuminate the exclusive and sophisticated series with an original and unexpected touch Ramage.

E’ the proposal of a lively, colorful and innovative wardrobe, projected towards a new lively season made of pastel nuance, cut-out details, fringes and very glamorous accessories.
A collection that wants to erase every trace of winter grayness, aiming to sublimate the female body with bikinis with high legs, strategic cuts and to ignite the everyday with enveloping mini dress and elegant chemisiers.
