The beach couture brand's retail strategy continues apace, opening the first of a series of stores in Brazil in Rio de Janeiro.
Milan, December 2022. The Miss Bikini store opening plan, which includes the brand's presence in the most prestigious and iconic international locations, stops in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. As in this case, where the vibrant Barra neighborhood was chosen, the city's new economic and social hub, home to the new ruling class and local celebrities and often used as a film set.
Miss Bikini's boutique is located inside the Barra Shopping mall, in a two-level setting characterized by an image in line with that of Brazilian shops. A space that conveys the idea of a living room with its shell-shaped armchairs in moss green velvet, marble and gold coffee tables, and a giant gold and crystal chandelier, dominated by metallic silver in dialogue with the mirrored surfaces of the furnishings. Inside are Miss Bikini's collections, born from the creativity of Alessandra and Francesca Piacentini, which add beachwear and outdoor water to the selection of dresses in special textures, made in Italy, representing the new object of desire of international customers and preparing to repeat the success achieved in Europe.
For Miss Bikini, who successfully opened her first boutique in Rio de Janeiro 33 years ago, this is a historic doubling, strengthening the image of Made in Italy not only in Rio but across the country. The challenge is set to continue with the openings planned to be widespread throughout the region starting with the one in São Paulo in 2023.
“Our strategy is consistent with the route already begun following the commercial agreement signed last June with Costa Crociere, which provides for our presence, among other things, on the Costa Firenze, the route of which will touch the cities of Santos, Rio, and Salvador” said Andrea Teofilatto, founder of Miss Bikini.
